These three wire forms created from discarded ‘rabbit proof’ fencing material were exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea in Bondi 2017. They evoke the natural forms of Tumbleweed and are named after various species of Tumbleweed. The Rose of Jericho typically dries up and tumbles across the landscape however when it is moistened by rain it resurects itself producing seed. The sculptures are hollow consisting of about four layers of wire with crocheted copper wire and twisted aluminum wire embellishments.
